Story
Creating Space for What Matters
Twofold began with a simple decision: choosing to live with more intention.
Not perfectly. Not all at once.
Just small steps that felt right.
Several years ago, I started paying closer attention to what I allowed into my home and my life - the things I used, the materials I lived with, the habits I held onto. The more I learned, the more I felt pulled toward decisions that aligned with my values. Small changes at first. Then, slowly, everything began to feel lighter.
That lightness created space - for clarity, for creativity, and for a dream I’d carried for years.
This brand is also a tribute to my mom, who left us too soon. She never got the chance to explore everything she dreamed about, and that has stayed with me. Following my own voice - even when it feels vulnerable - is my way of honoring hers. And it’s the example I want for my kids: your dreams matter, and you’re allowed to pursue them.
Someone once said, “My mom clapped so loud for me that I never noticed who didn’t.” That is the energy I grew up with, the energy I try to give to my kids, and the one I hope people feel when they come here - supported enough to dream big, no matter where they’re starting.
Twofold’s first beneficiary, My Very Own Bed, reflects that same belief. They’re a small, dedicated organization helping families create safe, supportive sleep spaces for their children. Rest shapes how we show up in the world, and being even a small part of a child’s sleep story — and a parent’s peace of mind — is a privilege I don’t take lightly.
Thank you for being here, for caring about the things that matter, and for choosing progress over perfection in your own life. Whether you’re making one small shift or chasing a long-held dream, every step counts. And I’m grateful to be walking a piece of this journey with you.
Dream Big,
Katy Tepley, Founder
